Design/Drawings Ruralfab offers engineering design services for all buildings. Designs are developed through consultation with a Brisbane based engineering firm and are detailed and controlled by Ruralfab. This includes workshop drawings completed onsite rather than subcontracting externally, enabling us to maximise time efficiency.
Benefits to our clients include;
- There are numerous ways structural steel can be designed. Our aim is to choose the design which is best suited for easy erection and also cost effective fabrication. By designing to our parameters we ensure cost is minimised throughout the whole project.
- Workshop drawings are completed on-site. Because we have onsite draftsmen - the drawings are detailed to a known standard and a known timeframe. The workshop and draftperson liase together for a much more efficient outcome.
Workshop Fabrication
Our quoting process is calculated on a per-member break down rather than applying rough hours versus tonne ratio pricing. We "see" the overall picture and have a very good comprehension of what is involved in your project, resulting in steelwork that is not overpriced and a project that will be delivered on time.
Using Ruralfab Fabrication means you'll receive:
- Fabrication of structural steel materials to all relevant Australian Standards.
- Employees have combined - over 70 years experience in structural steel fabrication.
- Very high trade qualified to welder ratio.
- Capacity of up to 60 tonne of fabricated steel per week.
- Modern reliable and purpose built factory with 5 tonne overhead crane facility.
